Ended Everyone Participative Programs Artist Talk by Inter-Asia Woodcut Mapping Group

Krystie Ng and Lee Chun Fung will introduce the founding and the experiences of Inter-Asia Woodcut Mapping Group which is exhibiting at the Former Daiichi Bank Yokohama Branch.
Referring to the works and maps on display, they will discuss how the Asian woodcut movement developed in the 2010s, and the background and significance of the current renewed interest in woodcut in Asia.

<Speakers>
李俊峰 (Lee Chun Fung)
Artist and curator from Hong Kong. Former co-founder of Woofer Ten (2009-2015), a community arts space in, Hong Kong and research collective “Inter-Asia Woodcut Mapping” (2018- ongoing). His artistic area of interest is the interconnection of community emotions and political and social movements.

吳君義 (Krystie Ng)
Curator/researcher from Malaysia. She is the co-founder of the research collective “Inter-Asia Woodcut Mapping” (2018- ongoing). She has been researching social participatory art in postcolonial Malaysian society, where cultural and racial diversity is emphasised.
