Tony Conrad

Born 1940 in Concord, New Hampshire. Lives and works in Buffalo and New York.

Conrad was a pioneer of 1960s Minimalism in the fields of both music and film. In 1966, he adapted his experiments in music to the world of film with his work The Flicker.
