【Christian Marlay’s The Clock to be on show for 24 hours】

Christian Marclay’s The Clock, now exhibited at the NYK Waterfront Warehouse and with which the artist received the Golden Lion at the 54th Venice Biennale, will be on show for 24 hours from 8pm on October 26 to 8pm on October 27. This will be the only occasion to see the work’s full 24 hours length in Yokohama.

*The event will take place after the venue closes on Oct 26 and on Oct
27 when Yokohama Triennale 2011 is closed.

【Regarding admission】
●Yokohama Triennale 2011 ticket is necessary for admission (tickets with stamp and without stamp are both valid). Tickets will be on sale at the venue for those without tickets.
●Admission will be on first-come, first-served basis. Numbered tickets will be distributed from 19:00.
●Since this event will be held in the work’s designated installation space, seats will be limited to the existing 24 sofa seats. The rest of the floor will be available for sitting and standing.
●Those who wish to leave the space for personal need (i.e. toilet, etc) may do so, but please note that the seat/space cannot be saved during the absence.
●Those who wish to wait until seats become available shall be asked to get on the waiting list. Admission will be based on the order of the numbered ticket and availability of the seats/space.
The Clock will be the only work on exhibit during these hours.
●Those influenced by alcohol will be prohibited from admission.
●Admission of those under age 18 will be limited to 5:00-20:00 on October 27. (Overnight stay is prohibited)
●Car park will not be available. Visitors are asked to use public transport.
