Yokohama Triennale 2020 “Afterglow”
The First Announcement of Participating Artists

The Organizing Committee for Yokohama Triennale is pleased to announce the exhibition outline and the first list of participating 65 groups of artists of Yokohama Triennale 2020 directed by Raqs Media Collective.

Japan has been affected by the corona virus pandemic, like many other countries around the world. On April 7, Japan's Prime Minister Abe Shinzo declared a state of emergency for Tokyo, Osaka and five other prefectures, including the prefecture of Kanagawa in which the City of Yokohama is located, as a measure to contain COVID-19.

Consequently, the Committee is closely monitoring the situation while preparing to open Yokohama Triennale 2020 to the public on July 3 as planned.
