During the weekend of Oct 14/Oct 15, Olafur Eliasson’s gallery space at the Yokohama Museum of Art venue will be open to visitors who would like try out constructing the Green light lamps.
The participants can listen to the life stories of refugees from Syria and Afghanistan while constructing the lamps.
Feel free to join us if you would like to have a hands-on experience or if you would like to simply get to know the artist better.
※It takes an average of more than 3 hours to finish one lamp. We shall leave it to the participants to decide the length of their stay and the process they would like to try out.
※The space allows for approximately 10 people to work at the table at one time. We apologize, in advance, if the space is full upon your arrival and you will not be able to participate in the construction of the lamp.
