Yokohama International Triennale 2005: Inaugural Event


The first work of YOKOHAMA 2005 will be presented at Festival Plaza, Yamashita park, Yokohama.
The Organizing Committee for Yokohama Triennale would like to hold a "YOKOHAMA 2005 Inaugural event" on April 29, in order to celebrate the accomplishment of this work.
We will have an information booth on YOKOHAMA 2005, as well as a Jazz concert, a food festival, and workshops for creating hand-made stuffed toys.
The Organizing Committee will announce the inauguration of YOKOHAMA 2005, holding a ceremony in presence of Mr. Luc Deleu, artist of the work; Mr. Tadashi Kawamata, Artistic Director of YOKOHAMA 2005; Mr. Kazuo Ogoura, President of the Japan Foundation; and Mr. Hiroshi Nakada, Mayor of Yokohama.
