	作者略歴 Brief record	都市的なシャープな映像感覚と官能的な美学と合わせ持ったヴィデオ・アーティスト。このトリエンナーレでは、事故や他殺、自殺といった、さまざまな死の場面を、アーティスト自身が演じて見せた写真を、地下鉄の広告にあるようなライティング・ボックスの大画面のシリーズとして出品する。奇妙なユーモアのうちに現代文化への鋭い批評的な眼差しが潜んでいる作品である。 Born in Mongol in 1972. Lives and works in Beijing, China. WuErshan is known for video works that combine urbane sharp images and sensual aesthetics. At the "YOKOHAMA 2001," he will exhibit a series of photographs of himself performing various death situations, such as accidental death, murder and suicide. The photographs will be shown as large illuminated billboards, which you often see in subway stations. The work will be humorous but it will have a critical eye on modern culture.
