	作者略歴 Brief record	生活のコミュニティにアートを引き込むことによって、不特定多数の観客と創造的なコミュニケーションを生み出すことをめざしたプロジェクト型の作品を発表している。バンコクの街を走るタクシーをギャラリーとして使うなど、新鮮なアイディアによって、アートを大衆に近づけるプロジェクトも多い。 国際展：96年アジア・パシフィック・トリエンナーレ、97年光州ビエンナーレ、98年シドニー・ビエンナーレに参加。グループ展では「Cities on the Move」展（ウィーン他各国主要都市を巡回）「Traditions/Tensions」展に参加。 日本では、97年「来るべき美術のために」展（東京都現代美術館、広島市現代美術館他）等で紹介されているほか､横浜・ゆめおおおかアートプロジェクトに作品設置。 Born in Thailand in 1971. Lives and works in Thailand and Japan. By bringing art into the ordinary life of the community, Rawanchaikul has created projects designed to communicate creatively with all kinds of viewers. He has used novel approaches in many of his works that bring art closer to the masses, for example, using a taxi in active service in Bangkok as a gallery. International exhibitions: 1996 Asia-Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art, 1996, Kwangju Biennale, 1997, Sydney Biennale, 1998. Group exhibitions including "Cities on the Move" (Vienna and other major world cities) and "Traditions/Tensions." Exhibitions in Japan: "Glimpses of the Future" (Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo, Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art, etc.) and Yumeooka Art Project, Yokohama.
