オブジェのようなものはほとんど制作せず、個人の非日常的な経験をつくり出す状況設定をおこなう。それゆえ「ソーシャル・スカルプチャー」あるいは「新たなパフォーマンスアート」と呼ばれている。体験の共有こそが観客との真のコミュニケーションであるとの考えから、演劇的装置に作家自らが観客と共にパフォーマーとして身を置く作品が多い。代表的な作品「ドリームキーパー」は、孤独な都市生活者の求めに応じて部屋に出向き、眠りにつく「観客」の側で「夢守人」として12時間過ごすというプロジェクトである。今日の社会で、アートに、アーティストに求められているものは何か、それがフラミスの作品の主題となっている。
国際展：98年マニフェスタ2に参加。アムステルダム市立美術館をはじめオランダ国内で多くの展覧会に出品している。
Born in Spain in 1967. Lives and works in the
Netherlands.
Instead of making objects, Framis creates situations
in which personal but non-ordinary experiences
can take place. Her work is often referred to
as "social sculpture" or "new performance art."
She feels that communication with viewers can
only be obtained by actually sharing an experience,
so she creates dramatic situations in which the
artist and viewer both perform. A representative
project is Dreamkeeper, in which lonely city dwellers
make an appointment with her to come to their
home or apartment and stay at their side as a
"dreamkeeper" for twelve hours while they sleep.
Framis's work deals with the question of what
is required of art and the artist in today's society.

Framis has participated in many exhibitions in
the Netherlands, including a solo show at the
Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam.
